Assemble at Kuala Lumpur International Airport for your flight to Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A city that is not only a UNESCO World Heritage gem but also a tapestry of tales from the ancient Silk Road.

Today, you will embark on a scenic 450km drive to Bukhara. This route, dotted with quaint villages and sweeping cotton fields, is a scenic bridge between the splendors of Khiva and the timeless charm of Bukhara. As the landscapes unfold, they tell stories of a land suspended between time and tradition. Conclude your day with an Instagram-worthy dining experience in one of Bukhara's most picturesque eateries, where culinary art meets ambiance. Tonight, your meal is not just about taste; it's about capturing moments worth sharing.

Note

The drive from Tashkent to Bukhara is about 6hrs drive through occasionally bumpy road, please bring along own motion sickness medicine, if required

Day 3

A morning exploration of Bukhara start with Poi Kalyan complex, an architectural masterpiece showcasing Islamic design. Marvel at the towering Kalyan Minaret and the grand Kalyan Mosque, each telling tales as old as Aladdin. Next, visit the Ark Fortress, a symbol of Bukhara's enduring legacy, where each stone narrates a story of power and resilience. Just nearby, take a stroll to the serene Bolo Haouz Mosque, known for its tranquil pond and striking pillars. Wander through the bustling Trading Domes, alive with the vibrancy of the Silk Road, and perfect for picking unique souvenirs. Let’s journey on to Samarkand after lunch. You will experience a bullet train to Samarkand. As evening sets in, wonder at Registan Square, a showcase of intricate Islamic architecture transforms into a dazzling wonderland with a breathtaking light spectacle that illuminates its historic architecture.

Day 4

Take a morning serene boat ride in Samarkand's Eternal City, exploring 11 hectares of rich Uzbek culture. Wander through artisan shops, visit the stunning Gur-Amir Mausoleum, and marvel at the Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis. This noon, stroll through the breathtaking Registan Square and dive into the vibrant Syob Bazaar, where you can pick up local treasures. Discover the grandeur of the Bibi Khanym Mosque before crossing into Panjakent, Tajikistan. End the day at the ruins of this ancient Sogdian city and visit the Rudaki Historic-Ethnographic Museum

Day 5

After breakfast, we’re heading south toward the relaxed capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe. Our drive will take us through the stunning Varzob Gorge and the fascinating Istiklal Tunnel. But here’s a treat—on the way, we’ll stop at the legendary Iskandarkul Lake, known as Alexander the Great’s lake. Imagine this: a 340-hectare lake steeped in history, where Alexander himself might have passed by on his way to India. We’ll have lunch right on the shore, soaking in those incredible views. You finally reach Dushanbe and the rest of the day is yours to explore. Take a leisurely stroll along Rudaki Avenue, the city’s main street, and don’t miss the chance to check out Independence Square, where you’ll see the world’s tallest flagpole, standing at a record-breaking 165 meters!

After breakfast, we’ll kick off the day with an early morning drive to the Hissor Fortress, located just 30 km west of Dushanbe. This historic site is a must-see, offering a glimpse into Tajikistan's rich past. Enjoy delicious lunch at a local restaurant before we proceed to visit the Tajikistan United Museum, where you’ll find fascinating exhibits on history, natural history, and art—including the impressive Buddha in Nirvana. Next, lets explore Dusti Square, home to the monument of Ismoili Somoni and Rudaki’s monument in the central park. Take a stroll through the Botanical Garden, a lush, serene park filled with ancient trees and a favorite spot for locals. End the day at Bazaar Mehrgan, an energetic oriental market that’s the busiest place in the city for your shopping spree moment.

Day 7

After breakfast, heading to the airport for your flight to TASHKENT. Explore the city with delve into the poignant Museum of Victims of Political Repression, a tribute to the martyrs who fought for Uzbekistan's independence. Next, lift your eyes and spirits high with a view of the Tashkent TV Tower! It stands as one of the tallest towers in the world, silently whispering tales of modern achievements into the cityscape. Take a deep insight into Uzbek culinary culture as you visit the Besh Qozon, renowned for its giant Plov kitchen. Plov, a staple Uzbek dish made with rice, meat, vegetables, and a blend of spices, is a national favorite and a symbol of Uzbek hospitality and tradition. See the preparation of Plov in such large quantities is an art form, requiring skill and experience to perfectly balance the flavors and textures. And finally, immerse yourself in the colors, aromas, and lively chatter of Chor-Su Market. Where you can wander, shop, and perhaps snack your way through one of the city's most lively spots.
