Assemble at Kuala Lumpur Airport for your flight to Vilnius, the capital and largest city of Lithuania. 

Upon arrival, embark on a tour of Vilnius Old Town, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site with winding, medieval cobblestone streets and impressive tapestry of historical buildings with Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Classical influence. Begin your morning with a visit to Trakai, the former capital of Lithuania situated on an island in the middle of a lake. The 14th-century red-brick Trakai Island Castle now houses a museum showcasing best-known works of defensive architecture in Lithuania. The castle today is the hub where plenty of concerts, events and festivals are held and regarded as one of the most picturesque locations in the country. Return to Vilnius in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure. 

After breakfast, travel to Siauliai to visit the impressive Hill of Crosses. Just 12 kilometres north of Siauliai, Hill of Crosses is evocative of Christian devotion and Lithuanian fervour with its surrealistic dreamscape. Next, cross the border to Latvia and proceed to Riga, the capital and the largest city of the country. 

This morning, begin a city sightseeing tour of Latvia. Here, meander through medieval streets, Gothic and Baroque churches, 19th century municipal buildings and Hanseatic warehouses. Visit St Peter’s Church for marvellous city views from its tower. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. 

Depart Riga and head towards Sigulda, nestled on both banks of the ancient valley of Gauja and one of the most beautiful cities in Latvia. 3 medieval castles are situated in the distance of a cannon shot from one another. Visit Turaida Castle, build in 1214, and head up to its main tower for unrivalled views of Latvia’s vast wilderness and pristine landscape. Later, proceed to Parnu, a historical and well-loved summer retreat with a small harbour located in the southwestern part of Estonia, and enjoy a short sightseeing tour. Next, travel north to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia for your overnight stay. 

This morning, enjoy a scenic drive to the suburbs and visit Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, which was built in 1959 for the Estonian Song Festival. Continue with a walking tour of the old city of Tallinn. With its romantic cobblestone streets, charming red roofs, medieval and Gothic houses, it is considered as one of the best-preserved old towns in Northern Europe. Visit the 13th century Cathedral of St Mary the Virgin and the 19th-century Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Next, visit Estonian Open Air Museum, where traditional Estonian village life is recreated. Featuring a collection of Estonian buildings from the 18th to 20th centuries, wander back in time and immerse yourself in the charms of bygones past. 

This morning, get ready to board a premium ferry ride and cross the sea to Helsinki, the capital of Finland, also known as Land of A Thousand Lakes. Embark on a city tour and head to one of Helsinki’s landmarks, Sibelius Monument, built by Eila Hiltunen in honour of composer Jean Sibelius, before passing by the extraordinary Temppeliaukio Church, constructed out of solid rock. Continue on to the lively Market Square and view Helsinki’s Administrative Centre, Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, Government Palace and Sederholm House, the city’s oldest stone building.

If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
