Upon arrival, start your city tour at the Citadel, home to Temple of Hercules dating back to Roman and Byzantine times. Next, visit the Jordanian Folklore Museum to discover the traditional lifestyles of different cultures of Jordan.

Hippodrome
Drive towards the north of Jordan to visit the ancient Roman city of Jerash, a close second to Petra on the list of favourite destinations and acknowledged as one of the best preserved sites in the world. See the Hadrian’s Arch which was built commemorate the visit of the Emperor Hadrian to Jerash in 129 AD, Hippodrome the massive arena for chariot races and Colonnaded Streets which paved with the original stones and the ruts worn by chariots are still visible. Proceed to Aljun to visit the Ajlun Castle, 12th century castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the crusaders.

Mount Nebo
After breakfast head to Madaba the city of Mosaics, which owes its popularity to a lavish mosaic map of the Holy Land that covers the floor of Greek Orthodox Church of St George. Thereafter, visit the Madaba Institute of Mosaic Art and Restoration where they train artisans in the art of making repairing and restoring mosaics. After lunch, proceed to Mount Nebo, the hill where the prophet Moses was said to have been granted a view of the Promised Land before he died. Admire the views of Jordan Valley, the ancient lands of Judah and Jericho and head inside Moses Memorial Church which displays a large number of beautiful mosaics. The Serpentine Cross stands outside the sanctuary is a symbolic of the brass serpent taken by Moses into the desert and the cross which Jesus was crucified upon. Continue to Petra, the lost city that was dated back to 3,000 years ago.

Al Khazneh
This morning, embark on an exploration of the Red Rose City of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a short horseback ride to the entrance of the Siq, a narrow 1-kilometre long gorge which is flanked on either side by high cliffs. Walk through the Siq to arrive at the main entrance of beautiful city. Here, you will view Petra’s most spectacular monument, the Al-Khazneh, or the Treasury, which is considered one of the most elegant remnants of the ancient world. It is also thought to be the repository of innumerable treasures. Continue your walking tour along the street of facades, including Roman Theatre and Royal Court.

Please keep in mind that distances within Petra can be considerable, and most of the terrain is unpaved, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended

Dead Sea
Today, travel to Wadi Rum, a desert of stunning beauty that was the setting for the epic film, “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoy a jeep safari which will take you around the dramatic wilderness to explore some of the best known sites such as Lawrence of Arabia historical sites, Jebel Khazali‘s ancient Nabatean inscription, have fun on the Red sand dunes and be amazed by the iconic “7 Pillars of Wisdom”, a mountainous rock formation that rise up few thousand feet from the desert land

Karak Castle
After breakfast, travel to Karak which sits 900m above sea level and lies inside the walls of the old city where several strategic 7th century battles took place. Visit Karak Castle, a dark maze of stone-vaulted halls and passageways. The castle is an impressive insight into the architectural military genius of the crusaders. Then transfer to the lowest point on the Earth; the Dead Sea. Spend the rest of the day to explore the nature’s living miracle in Dead Sea, have a floating experience in the seawater, as well as try the healthy mud treatment in the world’s largest natural spa.

After breakfast, free morning at the Dead Sea, then transfer to Amman. Check in at the hotel. This day, stroll down Rainbow Street, a street lined with quaint coffee shops and little artisan shops and enjoy spectacular views of downtown Amman.

今早，乘车前往约旦北部，罗马帝国时期的古城。杰拉什是最受旅客喜爱排名仅次于佩特拉的热门旅游景 点，更是世界上公认保存完好的遗迹之一。造访在公元 129 年为了纪念哈德良国王的莅临而兴建的哈德良拱形门。接着，参观宏伟庞大的二轮战车竞技场及以原始石块铺砌而成，布满二轮战车车辙痕迹的柱廊式街道。随后，前往阿杰隆并造访阿杰隆城堡。这是 12 世纪时一位萨拉丁军官在对抗十字军的战役期间所兴建的 一座城堡。

Day 4安曼 – 马德巴 – 尼泊山 – 佩特拉

早餐后，前往称为马赛克之城的马德巴。城中的圣‧佐治希腊正教教堂内就有一幅描绘圣地的马赛克地图，其 面积覆盖了整个地板。随后，参观马德巴马赛克学校，一座专门训练马赛克修补及复原技能的工匠学校。午 餐后，前往尼泊山。据说先知摩西死前获得上帝恩待，在这座山丘上看见了他梦寐以求的应许之地。远眺约旦河谷，犹大旷野及耶利哥的昔日壮丽风光一览无遗。接着，欣赏摩西纪念教堂内陈列着的精美马赛克作 品。教堂外矗立着一座庄严的盘蛇十字架，象征了当初摩西带进沙漠的铜蛇及耶稣被处决时所背负的十字 架。之后，前往失落的古城佩特拉，其历史可追溯至 3 千年前。

今早，骑马至锡克峡谷的入口。这座峡谷长1公里，狭窄蜿蜒，两侧是高崖峭壁。穿过锡克峡谷就能到达佩特 拉古城的主要入口。欣赏传说中的宝库卡兹尼神殿，佩特拉最恢宏绚丽的历史古迹，也被视为最优美的古代 世界遗迹之一。之后，沿着浮雕之街漫步，游览罗马剧院及皇室宫庭。

Day 7死海 – 卡拉克 – 安曼
Karak Castle
餐后，前往卡拉克。这座古老的城市位于海拔 900 米的高地上，深藏于高耸的城墙之中，7 世纪时多场极 具战略意义的战争皆在此发生。造访卡拉克城堡，一个充满石拱大厅及没有止境通道的黑暗迷宫，令人在惊 艳之余也对十字军东征时期的军事建筑特色有深刻的了解。接着，沿着彩虹街漫步闲逛。街道两旁古雅的咖 啡馆及小巧的工艺品店栉比鳞次，你可以边逛边欣赏安曼壮丽华美的城市风光。
