After breakfast, enjoy the desert scenery along the way, and drive through the Yadan landform of Huoshao Mountain, unique yardang landforms, composed of red and black volcanic rocks and pumice. Then, cross the Gurbantunggut Desert, China's third-largest desert. The journey continues through the Kalamaili Ungulate Nature Reserve, which may appear silent on the surface, but upon closer exploration, reveals itself as a paradise for wildlife.

Today after breakfast, transfer to Kanas Scenic Area (including shuttle bus). It’s a typical Yadan landform, with huge stone pillars of different shapes juxtaposed on the Gobi mountains, which looks particularly spectacular and majestic.
