Assemble at Kuala Lumpur International Airport for your flight to Shantou. 

H: Shantou Xinhaotian Hotel or SML

After breakfast, car tour the Seaside Promenade (Binhai Changlang) and People’s Square. Then visit the century-old small park and Zhongshan Pavilion in the old neighborhood to reminisce about the old days of Shantou. Shantou Lamanggong Palace, ships sailing out to sea and fashionable people crossing the ocean all come here to offer sacrifices and pray for peace. After lunch, proceed to Chaozhou. Take an environmentally friendly sightseeing bus to tour the ancient city, visit Archway Street, visit Kaiyuan Temple, climb the Xiangzi Bridge, one of the four ancient bridges in China, and overlook the Guangji Gate Tower. 

H: Chaozhou Linjiang Hotel or SML

After breakfast, transfer to Zhangzhou, the hometown of flowers and fruits, and visit the thousand-year-old ancient city and the ancient streets of Ming and Qing Dynasties. After lunch, transfer to Dongshan Island and visit Tongshan Ancient City, one of the five major water villages in the Fujian Sea. For dinner, you have the opportunity to taste Zhangzhou’s southern Fujian cuisine.

H: Zhangzhou Yu Yuan Hotel or SML

After breakfast, you will transfer to Hu'an Earth Buildings Cluster. You will have lunch to savor authentic earth building cuisine. Enjoy a distant view of rural orchards and taste seasonal fruits. Return to Xiamen and dinner will dine at "Weiyu Restaurant," a renowned establishment in Chinese cuisine, to taste authentic dishes such as crispy soft-shell shrimp and fried oysters.

H: Xiamen Hooray Hotel or SML

After breakfast, take a boat to Gulangyu Island, a sea garden, and walk through the International Architecture Expo Line. Try the time-honored Yip's Mochi. Longtou Commercial Street has a variety of tourist souvenirs, dried seafood, and local specialties for free purchase. After lunch, visit Nanputuo, a thousand-year-old temple. It is a typical ancient building complex in southern Fujian. It has lifelike Buddha statues and cliff carvings. Drive around the world's most beautiful road around the island and overlook Kinmen in the distance. Afterwards, take the high-speed train to Mt Wuyi and transfer to the hotel to rest.

H: Wuyishan Honglin Hotel or SML

After breakfast, start the journey to Mt Wuyi. Mt Wuyi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its "wonderful beauty best in the southeast China". Climb the first scenic spot of Mt Wuyi with surrounding peaks guarding its summit, offering a panoramic view. You'll take a bamboo raft to tour the Nine-bend Stream (including bamboo rafting fees) and admire the distant view of Yulong Peak. Upon disembarking, visit the reconstructed ancient street, Wuyi Palace, and the Celebrity Memorial Hall. For dinner, enjoy a farmhouse banquet featuring specialties of Mt Wuyi.

H: Wuyishan Honglin Hotel or SML

After breakfast, visit the Dahongpao Scenic Area, the holy land of tea kings. You'll then take a high-speed train back to Xiamen and explore the most famous and bustling market in Xiamen, known as the "Eighth Market," which is renowned as a seafood haven for locals. Here, you'll find a wide variety of seafood delicacies and local specialties.
