Upon arrival, make your way to Ljubljana, the capital and largest city of Slovenia. Ljubljana boasts a balanced mix of old and new, with centuries-old buildings surrounding a medieval heart beating in tandem with an increasingly modern outlook and a vivacious entertainment and cultural scene. Upon arrival, get acquainted with the city’s ancient charms with a tour through the heart of its old town. You will visit baroque-style architecture of Church of St Nicholas with its impressive twin bell towers and towering dome. Next, proceed to Market Colonnade and stroll through dozens of charming little shops selling a wide variety of souvenirs and local produce such as apples and honey. The market also curves along the east bank of the river Ljubljanica, between Triple Bridge and Dragon Bridge, offering plenty of visual treats as well. Cross Triple Bridge to the city’s main meeting point, Preseren Square, named after the greatest Slovene poet, France Preseren. Then, continue your journey to Lake Bled. Tonight, enjoy a dinner with Lake bled cream cake, known as kremna rezina.

Today, tour Slovenia’s most famous lake, Lake Bled. Marvel at the stunning crystal blue-green lake, immerse in its idyllic surroundings and fresh clear air, take a moment to ponder and understand why it is described by many as a paradise on Earth. Delve deeper into the region’s beauty with a traditional pletna boat ride to Bled Island, a picturesque islet crowned by the exquisite Church of the Assumption. Visit the church, climb up the stairs to the top and to ring the church bell for your wishes to come true. Thereafter, do not miss an opportunity to join an optional tour to Postojna Cave, a natural wonder of Slovenia, at your own expense. Then, continue your journey to Portoroz for your overnight stay. This evening, enjoy a rejuvenating dip in the thermal springs pool located in the hotel.

This morning get ready for a truffle hunting trip. Take a walk through the nearby woods with an experienced truffle hunter and learn how to sniff out a truffle and about this intriguing vocation. Thereafter, enjoy a tasting of regional specialties including truffles, olives and honey. Next, visit a local vineyard for a wine-tasting session to sample some of the exquisite wines produced in this region. Continue to Plitvice for your overnight stay.

Today, get ready for a change of scene as you approach Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Europe’s most impressive national parks with a designated UNESCO World Heritage status since 1979. Hold your breath as you walk towards the 70-metre-tall Veliki Slap, the largest waterfall in the park. The beauty of the park lies in its 16 crystalline lakes, interconnected by a series of cascades, and set in deep woodland populated by deers, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. Tonight, enjoy a relaxing stay in the pretty coastal city of Zadar. You will enjoy a seafood pasta dinner paired with a glass of Ozjusko Pivo beer, the oldest beer brand produced in Croatia since 1892.

Discover the history and culture of Zadar on a guided tour through one of Croatia's most famous cities. See the city's top attractions including its ancient Roman forum, the Greeting to the Sun, the Sea Organ, and the Land Gate which famously forms a Triumphal arch. After lunch, visit Krka National Park, the second most visited National Park in Croatia. Take in the sweeping views of the park while gawking at the 17 different waterfalls within the park grounds. Then, enjoy a scenic drive to Split, the 2nd-largest city in Croatia.

Soak up the exuberance of the Dalmatian city of Split as you embark on a city tour through its most important sights. Relive the days of the past as you come face-to-face with Diocletian’s Palace, Temple of Jupiter, and Cathedral of St Domnius. With the dramatic coastline and turquoise waters of the Adriatic surrounding remnants of Roman, Renaissance and Gothic buildings, this charming city is a sight to behold. This afternoon, hop on to a catamaran ride to Hvar town. Explore the beautiful island of Hvar, known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant nightlife. Hvar is also a popular destination for history and culture enthusiasts, with a well-preserved medieval town, complete with a fort, cathedral, and Renaissance palaces. The island is also surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, producing some of the best wines and olive oils in Croatia.

Today, transfer to the port to take a ferry ride from Hvar to Drvenik. Upon arrival, travel to Ston, a medieval historic town famous for the second longest protective wall in the world after Great Wall of China, and oldest salt factory of that kind in the world! You will take a panoramic boat ride on a beautiful wooden boat through the Bay of Mali Ston all the way down to the oyster beds, and can see and learn something about the oyster production and enjoy an oyster-tasting session. Thereafter, travel along the coast to Dubrovnik, also known as the Pearl of the Adriatic.

Be in awe as you set eyes on Dubrovnik with its orange-hued roofs, ancient city walls, marble streets and baroque buildings. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city’s landmarks such as Rector’s Palace, Clock Tower, St Blaise Church, Onofrio Fountain, Orlando’s Columnvenik and Sponza Palace will not fail to impress. Next, with your city walls admission, walk around the ancient fortress dotted with bastions, towers and detached forts. After, see Franciscan Monastery up close, which also houses Europe’s 3rd-oldest pharmacy. Continue to Sibenik for your overnight stay.

Sibenik, a small charming town in Croatia that features two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Game of Thrones locations, nice beaches, and preserved nature. This morning, stroll the narrow streets, see the splendid two-story Old Town Hall. Visit St James Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the beautiful masterpiece of Venetian art built in the 15th century. Various architects were working on its construction for more than 100 years. It is unique among other Renaissance buildings since it was entirely built of stone. The area near the Cathedral is the filming location of Games of Thrones. This evening, enjoy a get-together dinner and celebrate the wonderful trip with newfound friends.

Today, embark on a sightseeing tour of this old Central European city, with its Baroque atmosphere in the upper town, picturesque open-air markets, and great shopping. Take in sights like Roosevelt Square, Ban Jelacic Square and Zagreb Cathedral. Go back in time to the Middle Ages with a stroll through the upper town to Croatian Parliament, St Mark’s Church, Kamenita Vrata or Stone Gate, and the ancient Lotrscak Tower. If time permits, of course there is always last-minute shopping before bidding farewell to Zagreb as you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
