This morning, drive to Monte Carlo, the capital of the Principality of Monaco, located at the base of the Maritime Alps along the French Rivieria. Soak up the history of the city as you walk along the narrow streets of the old town and head to Prince’s Palace of Monaco to admire the splendor of the 17th-century architecture and 15th-century frescoes. Then, drive along the flagship circuit of the Formula 1 season - the Grand Prix circuit - as you make your way to the famous Casino Café de Paris surrounded by two beautiful outdoor gardens. Continue to Marseille for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, explore the beautiful historic entre of Montpellier and delve deep into its legendary medieval past. Enjoy a guided tour starting from Place de la Comedie to admire the Three Graces Fountain. Explore historical landmarks such as Montpellier Cathedral, Porte du Peyrou that predates the Arc de Triomphe, Opéra comédie and University of Montpellier, one of the oldest universities in the world dating from the 13th-century. Next, go on a scenic drive to the medieval city of Carcassonne for a guided city tour of this magical city and its famous 53 watchtowers and double-walled fortifications. Dating back to 6th century BC, the city underwent destruction and restoration multiple times; but today it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for being one of the most accomplished fortified towns in Europe.

Today, go on a scenic drive to the beautiful city of Toulouse. Enjoy a guided city tour of Toulouse, the fourth largest city in France, partly because of the aerospace industry. In fact, it is the largest centre for aerospace in all of Europe as it is the home of the European Airbus headquarters, the SPOT satellite, and the French space agency. Thereafter, head to Bordeaux. Visit La Cite du Vin, Bordeaux’s wine museum inaugurated in 2016. The wine museum was set to celebrate wine culture around the globe and to educate visitors about winemaking and its history. The shape of this spectacular building is inspired by the movement of wine when it is swirling in a glass. This evening, you will embark on the Croisi Europe Cruise to start our journey along the Gironde River.

This morning, travel to Cussac Fort Medoc, a town in the Gironde. More than half of the agricultural area of the locality is dedicated to the vineyard, producing Haut-Medoc appellation wines. This afternoon, travel to Bay of Arcachon, an hour’s drive from the charming city of Bordeaux. Bay of Arcachon is the perfect vacation destination and a paradise for oyster and seafood aficionados. Relish in the amazingly fresh oysters and learn the various ways of preparing this delicacy, including the local method of steaming the oysters over a bed of pine needles.

Continue to Blaye, whose Citadel built by Vauban is not to be missed. Enjoy a guided tour of this famous Fortress of Blaye, built in the 17th century by Vauban, who is the famous engineer of King Louis XIV. This citadel, which overlooks the Gironde estuary is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. Besides the Citadel, Blaye is also well known for the red wine produced in the surrounding region. Stop by a local vineyard and enjoy a wine-tasting session to sample some of the Blaye Cotes De Bordeaux Wine, and wine that you will not find elsewhere. This afternoon, explore the historic town of Blaye at your own leisure. You may choose to cycle through vineyard-laced countryside, walk through ancient villages, or just sip world-renowned wines.

Today, cruise to Libourne, a town rich with history and full of character located at the confluence the Isle and the Dordogne Rivers. Admire the Church of Saint-Jean, its Grand Port Tower, and its arcaded square, Place Abel Surchamp. The latter which is both vast and elegant is surrounded by ancient facades, among which stands the 15th-century town hall. Thereafter, enjoy a winery tour and learn more about vinification techniques and aging in barrels, and ends with a wine tasting. Then, head to St Emilion, also famous for its vineyards and elegant wines as well as its UNESCO World Heritage listed town with its breathtaking architectural gems and monuments. Stop by a local vineyard for a wine-tasting session to sample some of the exquisite wines produced in this region. In the evening, celebrate a wonderful trip with your travel companions at a farewell dinner hosted by the captain of the cruise.

This morning, disembark from the cruise and return to Bordeaux to board the TGV high-speed train ride to Paris. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour and immerse in some of the most iconic sights of this timeless city - Napoleon’s Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees Boulevard and Eiffel Tower. This evening, you may wish to take an excursion cruise along the romantic River Seine at your own expense.

May we suggest that you head to the cafes near the Louvre where you can order a cuppa, a crepe, and watch the world pass you by as you engage in priceless conversations with your loved ones. You may also wish to visit the extravagantly grandiose Palace of Versailles at your own expense. This is afterall, Paris.
